Ph.D Scholarship Eligibility
1) Applicant should be permanent resident of Karnataka
2) Candidate belonging to BC category groups Cat-I, 2A, 3A, 3B
3) Full time Ph.D engaged in recognized university/subordinate institutions in Karnataka
4) Should have passed Master Degree min 55% marks
5) PhD degree should be registered
6) Upper age limit 35 years
7) Student Parental Annual Income limit: Cat-I: Rs.4.5 lakh, 2A/3A/3B/Other BC: Rs.3.50 lakh
8) Employees of Central / State / Subsidiary / Publicly owned enterprises are not eligible for this facility

2) Find Ph.D Scholarship Registration
3) Select accepting instructions necessary, Then Apply Now button press
4) The basic questions are to be ticked mark

a) Are you a Citizen of India
b) Are you a Govt Employee
c) Are you a Full time Ph.D.Student
d) Select Application Type (Fresh/Renewal)
5) SSLC/10th Details
i) SSLC/10th Pass Type
ii) SSLC Pass Year
iii) SSLC/10th Register No
iv) Date of Birth
After entering View
6) Proceed to fill the blanks, select appropriate tick mark
7) Upload scanned documents, mandatory form, affidavit etc forms
8) After submission of online copy, take print and to be sent concerned District BC welfare officer before 1st Dec 2018

Notes:
i) Students who have studied Class 10 in CBSE/ICSE are not available online application form, those students go to District Backward Classes Officers Office of your District submit details SSLC registration number, Birth date, name of father/mother, name of the school and address, They do Ph D Scholarship registration
ii) SC, ST and Minority Students are not allowed to avail this from Backward Classes Welfare Department.
