Karnataka NMMS 2018-19 Scholarship for Class 8

The Department of State Education Research and Training is holding Karnataka NMMS 2018-2019 for giving scholarship for economically poor students, who had stopped their study and want to continue their studies in Karnataka Government schools, student should apply for National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS), application form available at Block Educational Office from 16 August 2018

NMMS Karnataka Student Eligibility

1) Student must be Karnataka Domicile
2) Students studied previous classes in Govt & Aided High schools are only eligible
3) Student family income not more than Rs.1,50,000 per annum
4) Student must pass 7th class annual exam with 55% marks
5) Passing percentage relaxation five percent for SC,ST and Physical disabled students

NMMS Scholarship: The aim of the Karnataka NMMS is students who were poor and discontinued their studies in class VIII, Karnataka DSERT ambition to continue students study upper classes and encourage completing classes till 12th class by providing scholarship.
